Description
The A41 Project was an initiative supported by The Equality Trust and funded by Arts Council England. The year-long photography and community-participation project sought to illustrate the themes around inequality in England by using the A41 trunk road from London to Birkenhead as an illustrative metaphor.
The project culminated in an exhibition staged at various locations across the country and a publication in the form of a newspaper was produced as supporting material.
The newspaper is A3 size and consists of 20 pages with texts and images from the project and exhibitions. It also features an article by Professor Richard Wilkinson, author of The Spirit Level, which looks at inequality in our society.
