There She Goes is a collection of photographs by Colin McPherson taken around Everton’s famous Goodison Park stadium in the two years leading up to the club’s relocation from its historic old ground in 2025.
Published for the first time in book form in October 2025, images from this series have been previously published internationally in When Saturday Comes, Josimar, the Blizzard and Kicker football magazines over the last two years.
The photographs pay tribute to the rhythms and rituals enjoyed by Everton supporters before and after matches at the ground they called home from 1892 until this year. The packed streets around Goodison Park provide the backdrop where people of all ages gather in friendship and fellowship on match days. It is a scene washed in blue, no matter whether skies are grey overhead.
The photographs document the turbulent times which Everton’s followers endured, from near-relegation to points deductions through to the day this year when they played their last-ever game at Goodison Park. As the club enters a fresh chapter at their newly-built stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, these images pay tribute to the last part of their journey from the Grand Old Lady to pastures new.
